FlightGlobal reported on April 9, 2026 that, a little over a year after Lilium's second and final insolvency, the last traces of its all-electric aircraft programme were being erased at Oberpfaffenhofen airport, and that prototypes had failed to sell. The Lilium Jet is tracked as defunct.
