Every flying car and air taxi, one table

What each vehicle is, what it costs, which approvals it actually holds and when the company says it will deliver. "Certification" means approval of the aircraft design (a type certificate) unless stated otherwise. Permits, factory approvals and test certificates are listed for what they are.

How to read this tracker

  • Type certificate: the regulator approves the aircraft design. Production approval covers the factory. Operator certificate covers whoever flies passengers. A company usually needs all three before selling a seat.
  • Special / experimental airworthiness certificates allow test flying. They are not type certificates.
  • Dates are company targets unless a source confirms the event happened.
  • Spotted something out of date? See corrections.
