Wisk Aero

Wisk says it is a wholly owned subsidiary of Boeing, based in the announcement of May 4, 2026 in Mountain View, California. That day Wisk announced the first flight of its second Gen 6 aircraft, at Hollister, California: vertical takeoff, hover and chirp maneuvers. Wisk said the first Gen 6 had started flight testing in mid-December. On August 10, 2026 Archer said it had agreed to buy Wisk from Boeing, and that the deal remains subject to closing conditions. This page does not treat that announcement as a completed acquisition.
