AutoFlight signs an MoU for 260 eVTOLs with Singapore's JC Aviation, but only three aircraft are committed
Singapore's JC Aviation plans to buy 260 AutoFlight eVTOLs and 10 SUNSHIP floating vertiports for India, Brazil and other markets under a memorandum of understanding. Only two CarryAll cargo aircraft and one SUNSHIP are confirmed so far. The rest depends on future purchase agreements.

AutoFlight said on October 15 that it had signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Singapore-based JC Aviation, covering the planned procurement of 260 AutoFlight eVTOLs and 10 SUNSHIP water-based eVTOL platforms (AutoFlight).
What is actually committed
The MoU includes "an initial confirmed commitment" for two V2000CG CarryAll cargo aircraft and one SUNSHIP, AutoFlight says. The broader procurement is "to be finalized through subsequent purchase agreements." An MoU is not a firm order. EqualOcean makes the same distinction between the headline fleet plan and confirmed sales.
Under the plan, JC Aviation intends to buy a mix of three types between 2026 and 2031:
- V2000CG CarryAll cargo eVTOLs
- V2000CGF CarryAll firefighting eVTOLs
- V2000EM Prosperity passenger eVTOLs
The 10 SUNSHIP platforms are planned for delivery between 2026 and 2029. The first markets are India and Brazil, with possible expansion into Central and Latin America. The two companies also plan to work together on certification, pilot and maintenance training, and local support.
JC Aviation is part of the aviation business of Singapore's Makrana Holdings. According to AutoFlight, that group is the authorised distributor of Leonardo helicopters in India for civil segments, and also runs charter, MRO, FBO and ground-handling services.
What is not established
No deal value, price or delivery schedule was published. Neither the MoU nor the coverage mentions any approval from India's or Brazil's aviation authorities. EqualOcean notes that the CarryAll's earlier Chinese certification and its June 2026 Indonesian type-certificate validation cover the cargo model only. They don't establish approval for passenger operations or for India and Brazil. Operating locations and service dates weren't given.
