Skyports' April 16, 2026 announcement describes Joby Aviation (NYSE: JOBY) as a California-based company developing an all-electric vertical take-off and landing air taxi, and says Joby intends both to operate the service and to sell aircraft. Skyports said that in June 2025 Joby completed piloted test flights in Margham, Dubai, including the first UAE piloted flights between Margham and Al Maktoum International Airport.
