Eve Air Mobility

Aviation Week's October 14, 2026 interview with CEO Johann Bordais says Embraer-backed Eve is targeting certification of the four-passenger, battery-electric Eve-100 by the end of 2028. That is a target. Bordais said Eve had logged 72 flights with a remotely piloted full-scale demonstrator, that the hover phase was completed in April, and that a piloted conforming prototype was aimed for the end of 2027. He said liquidity of over $500 million would last until certification. He also said Eve chose lift-and-cruise, with a maximum range of about 80 to 85 km, because most customer routes it cited were 30 to 40 km. The factory he described is a modular plant in Taubaté, Brazil.
